Linguistic refers to our ability to use language, and how words and phrases mirror our inner mental world. It also refers to non-verbal language like postures, gestures, and physical habits that reveal our thinking styles, beliefs, and intentions.
Programming is borrowed from computer science to suggest that our thoughts, feelings, and actions are akin to habitual programs that have been installed over a lifetime, but that can be changed by upgrading our “brain-ware.”
